About the method

ICP-NPP-inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry. This is a highly sensitive method of analysis based on plasma atomization of a substance from solution, followed by measurement of the spectrum of the excited state of atoms.

The method is used for simultaneous multi-element analysis in a wide range of concentrations. ICP-NPP is used both for the determination of high concentrations of elements and for the analysis of trace contents. The detection limits of most elements are below the background concentrations for various rock types.

The laboratory of Alfa-Lab LLP uses multi-specialty ICP spectrometers Agilent 5110 and Varian 720-ES. The equipment is used for quantitative analysis of elements in ores, their processed products, solutions, activated carbons, resins and other materials.

The results of the analysis help the customer to control the composition of raw materials and technological products, evaluate the quality of materials and make production decisions based on reliable laboratory data.
